This position manages and compiles raw product data; coordinates acquisition of raw product; oversees storage and delivery plans for raw product and oversees raw product inspection to assure the business’s finished product objectives are met.  This person oversees daily and long-term scheduling for raw type, quantity, quality, and blend requirements for all plants and product lines in coordination with plant production personnel to assure timely and cost effective delivery of raw to meet production needs.  This position is responsible for regular reports for disbursement to plant, and Food Group offices for the purpose of reporting raw product status, and making recommendations for action. Will support successful adoption of new varieties with tailored best practice information.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Key Accountabilities:&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Manage Variety Identification, Selection and Qualification Program. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Screen potentially suitable germplasm from public and private breeding programs around the world &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Evaluate performance, analyze and report results. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Support new variety introduction and adoption. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Collaborate closely with breeders and industry experts. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Work closely with agronomy team in developing best practices for new varieties. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Development tools and methods that enable early evaluation of important potato attributes. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Work jointly with overseas colleagues in identifying, screening and developing new varieties. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Maintain strong relationships with breeders, associated and collaborators around the world. &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;PhD. or Master’s Degree in Plant Genetics, Plant Science or other related fields. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Comprehensive understanding of the field of breeding, marker assisted and molecular breeding, genomics, breeding techniques, tools and methods. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;Four (4) years’ experience in the field of plant genetics, breeding and/or variety development and research.
