EMPLOYEES WILL WORK JULY AND AUGUST, MINUMUM 6 DAYS A WEEK, 8 - 10 HOURS A DAY, AND PAID $11.00/HOUR.

Job Title: Temporary Office Help
Job Objective: Assist on Office Duties
Supervision Received (reports to): ARNY BERRY - Manager
Supervision Exercised (positions supervised): ARNY BERRY – Manager
Scale Office Supervisor (reports to): KIM STANDRING - Administrative Assistant

Typical Physical and Psychological Demands of Job
•Requires strong communication, problem-solving skills
•Requires prolonged standing, walking, some bending, stooping and stretching.
•Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 50 lbs up to 50 feet
•Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
•Ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve
•Requires a hard working self starter
•Requires a minimum 8 hours a day, minimum 5 days a week

(Hours per day and days per week can be extended at certain times of the year.)
Occasional work on a Sunday may be needed on a rotation schedule. Usually 4 to 6 hours)

Job Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations
Summer office help
By
• Scaling (weighing) trucks, data entry (Bilingual preferred)
• Operates sample probe and a monitoring protein analyzer (will train), data entry
• Administrative, research, data entry

Communicates effectively with co-workers and management
By
•Proactively using professional written and assertive oral skills.
•Report to supervisor any concerns regarding your work station or between co-workers.
• Always communicate with drivers in a pleasant and professional manner.


Is instrumental in developing and maintaining workplace harmony and teamwork
By
•Coaching personnel and other, including self, to be friendly and behave courteously, assertively, and professionally while continuously maintaining a positive attitude about the job, the patrons, co-workers and the company.

Supports management’s goals and the aspirations of CHS
By
•Keeping current on company issues and policies, participating in planned social and business events, relaying pertinent industry and competitive company information to management, supports the owners and management team, actively contributes to the company’s development, etc.
•Participate in the safety program; follow all safety, company/ corporate rules and regulations. (Turn in all information expected of you, such as safety forms and employee acknowledgements.)
•Working in a NO Cell Phone environment. (Cell phones can only be used on a break)
•Working through lunch or interrupted lunches is very common.
•Longer hours are common at the spur of the moment.
•Employees are expected to report to work on time, in position and ready for work.
•Employees are to report to the office supervisor any concerns or suggestions to make their position more efficient.


Qualifications
Education, Experience, Skill & Abilities (an acceptable combination of the following)
1. Minimum High School diploma
2. Typing 50 WPM
3. Organizational skills/detail oriented
4. Computer literate
5. Multitasking
6. Intermediate proficiency in software (MS Word, Excel)
7. Operate and maintain a variety of office machines
8. Proficiency with multi phone line systems
9. Bilingual (preferred)
